lauradi7dwGoing through a box of random stuff, I found a small note from 1969 (when I would have been 13-14) with my life ambitions.
Learn Welsh [when we traveled there, I learned to sound out the strange words on signs. That was about it]
Grow an animal from zygote to birth in an artificial womb [I have no recollection of wanting to do this kind of work]
Meet Prince Charles [haven't yet]
Join the Peace Corps [nope, although I have known people across the years who did so]
Live until 2001 but no longer [what??]
Possibly get married [did that one]
A couple of years after that, we had a required class about choosing a future career. The teacher had a box of quizzes to help people sort out their likes and dislikes. I think I ended up with Park Ranger as an ideal career. Didn't do that either. I've never actually had a career - just jobs, and then volunteer gigs.
