the wearing of the green

I was about to pull on a red shirt this morning, but thought "someone will pinch me," so I got out a green t-shirt instead.  I haven't been in elementary school since June 1967 (end of 6th grade), but playground behavior still influences my actions.

Not many people wearing green at work today. Last year one of the guys had this brilliant green dress shirt, but I walked by his cube and today he is wearing a white shirt. At lunch a couple people said "oh, is that today?" and then we went off into a discussion of color names in different languages (as in our group we have several immigrants from a variety of places).
