Guns don't kill people - bullets do

That was one of the campaign slogans of mostly jokey 1968 presidential candidate Pat Paulsen, who started out on the Smothers Brothers show doing commentary. He suggested letting people have guns, but not ammunition.
Now, at last, California has followed up on his suggestions
