We started listening to a Prairie Home Companion in 1980 or so, I think, the beginning of a radio evening concluding with WCRB Saturday Night, a mix of various kinds of humor. Richard L Kaye (CRB announcer) is long gone, but Garrison Keillor is still going. The last episode of the show was tonight, but he'll be on the road for a while, and is doing some sort of stand-up (?) in Lexington in a few weeks. The finale was a really good episode, I thought, a satisfying end.
