After months of trying to figure out why I am so lopsided, leg-wise, even though my actual body parts (when measured) are even, I realized a week or two ago that I tend to stand leaning with my weight on one side, with a hip stuck out slightly (like someone holding a toddler on a hip, but without the relevant child). Since then, I have been trying to stand up straight, with my weight evenly distributed. Even though there have been years of Tai Chi and tap dancing devoted to balance and weight shift awareness, this has felt incredibly hard. It requires a conscious effort. I think it's helping, or maybe it just feels like a new action.
Is it just me, or does John Laurens (sort-of founding father, although he was killed early in the Revolution)look a lot like actor Fred Savage?

sovay[Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s enthusiastic reviews of Mamaleh on Hampshire Street, we stopped by to take out bagels. Good. We noticed potato knishes on the menu. I am always a little skittish about them, after learning that the knishes at Rein's (Vernon, CT) have chicken fat in the dough. We asked. The host immediately switched into the vernacular ("I don't think they have schmaltz, but I'll check) and after looking up the ingredients, confirmed that while they are not vegan (there are eggs), they are vegetarian. We'll be back. We keep going to Rein's because it's a good meeting place between us and some of Arthur's CT relatives. This morning we discussed pointing out to them that vegetarian versions exist. Arthur said "Go, you chicken fat, go!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFofqe26t-4
I had the thought of making a placard and marching up and down on the sidewalk the next time we go there. I probably won't do it.
