As a coincidence, I was walking through an airport terminal last night and thought I saw Geddes, a friend who has been dead for more than twenty years, grayer than I remember him. I didn't walk over to prove to myself that the guy was not he - it was nice for a minute to just feel that he's still around and getting toward retirement age.
