I wanted to call Secretary Kerry's office somehow, to be supportive of his speech criticizing Israeli settlements in the West Bank. I can't find a phone number on the State Department web page. I had the passing thought of writing a note and sliding it under the door at his home on Louisburg Square in Boston, but I suspect there is some security presence that might wrestle me to the ground, or worse. Also, one would hope they have good weather strips on the door.

Contact information for the State Department is included among FAQ here, including a main switchboard phone number and an "Office of Public Engagement." I'd try the main line first and see what happens.

Thanks. The operator transferred to 202 646-6575, which yielded a voicemail machine. I left a babbling but supportive message, which may have been cut off by the time limit.

Unrelated - I thought of you when I saw this

Of course the Romans would have made a tube map with very straight lines.
