The sword of Alewife hanging over me

I am always worried about gun violence in the US, but when I think about the chances of dying soon, I assume I'll lose in a vehicle vs. pedestrian (or bicycle) crash. Second on my list, sort of joking, is that part of the Alewife Station parking garage will fall on me and kill me. There are cracks and holes and all sorts of scary looking places, but I still park in the garage a couple of times a month, and I am in the busway (under the edge of the garage) almost every day. Will be in about 45 minutes, actually. It felt like less of a joke when I heard about this
