1. Who was your best friend?
Dale, Steve, Bettie, Dorothy, Bob, Bob (I am still friends with Dale & Bettie & Dorothy).

2.What sports did you play?
no sports teams for girls then, but by senior year, there was a community soccer league.

3. What kind of car did you drive?
Mostly my mother's Dodge Dart. Sometimes a Gremlin, rarely my recorder teacher's Bug.

4. It's Friday night, where were you?
Football games during the season. WDBS newsroom all year.

5. Were you a party animal?
No.

6. Were you considered a flirt?
I don't think so.

7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Band - trombone.

8. Were you a nerd?
No.

9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
no.

10. Can you sing the fight song?
yes. Take the chorus of "When the Saints..." and substitute "Knights." not hard to remember.

11. Who was your favorite teacher?
Nancy Holland, Ms. Gussin, Ms. Loving. Ecos club advisor was Fran Thompson, but I never had her for a teacher because I didn't take physics (about to this fall, I think).

13. School mascot?
Knight.

14. Did you go to Prom?
Junior, Senior, and went back my freshman year of college to go with a friend who couldn't get a date otherwise.

15. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
I'm glad to be done with it, but it was mostly good at the time.

16. What do you remember most about graduation?
Not much about the ceremony. I'd had flu about a month before, so my parents insisted that I
only spend a brief amount of time at a party and then go home to bed. It was long enough to spill blue cake frosting on a white dress.

17. Where were you on senior skip day?
Didn't exist.

18. Did you have a job your senior year?
Volunteer newscaster. (see #4). Babysitting.

19. Where did you go most often for lunch?
Cafeteria. Leaving wasn't an option, I don't think.

20. Have you gained weight since then?
I presume so. I don't remember what I weighed in high school.

21. What did you do after graduation?
UNC-CH

22. When did you graduate?
High School? 1973.

23. Who was your Senior prom date?
Bob Swanson.

24. Are you going / did you go to your 10 year reunion?
Didn't go to 10th. Went to 20th with the whole family - it was an afternoon picnic food and stand around thing. They had entertainment (spin art, bouncy thing) for the children. The only organized adult activity was chatting and catching up - very pleasant.
The 30th was a dinner. Also nice. I ended up spending a lot of time talking to someone I don't
think I'd ever spoken to when we actually were in high school.
